Google Nexus One pricing revealed – Leaked online purchase page details unlocked and contract costs.
News from the States appears to confirm rumours that T-Mobile is to be the US operator that will offer the Google Nexus One Android phone.
Although reports strongly suggest that the device will also be available to consumers as an unlocked, SIM-free handset, it seems T-Mobile (the first operator to offer an Android phone) will also be offering the mobile on contract.
To buy the unlocked handset a recently leaked purchase page sets the price at $529.99 (roughly £330) which will see consumers getting the device itself, a phone case, a wall charger, a USB cable and free US shipping.
The same page prices a Nexus One desktop docking station at $39.99 and a Nexus One car docking station, for navigation and hands-free use, at $49.99. Customisation via engraving is also said to be an option.
The leaked page also reveals a T-Mobile plan option, with a T-Mobile “Even More Individual 500 Plan” due to cost a not-to-be-sniffed-at $79.99 a month for a two-year tie-in, seeing the handset sold for $179.99 – in addition to the contract.
